Since the beginning of 1980s, Chinese society tremendous changes and the historical study deepens, prompted the understanding of the problems occurred to many new changes. The westernization movement is one of the important content in the Junior high school modern history teaching. There are different elaboration and evaluation about it on the junior high school history curriculum standard (syllabus) and textbooks in different times.Through the reviewing of westernization movement on the content of course standard and textbooks, this article is to analysis the content changes in three decades, to explore the change reason, to provide the realistic basis for history textbook construction.The thesis is divided into three parts.The preface mainly expounds the meaning and multiple-choice reasons, research status and research methods.The author organizes the article in three chapters. Chapter one enumerates the contents of the Westernization Movement on the syllabus (curriculum standards) in different periods and the different versions of the textbook section, to understand the teaching goal, and to look into the background or the reasons for such a statement.Chapter two mainly learns about the content of teachers teaching ideas, methods and strategies and process of implementation in different times from classroom teaching, case, problem sets, exams and other aspects.Chapter three discusses the inspiration of students after learning and the improvement of the quality of today's teachers, based on the above analysis of the three-part investigation.The main conclusion of this study is to summarize the results, hoping more people to pay attention to teaching of the Westernization Movement.
