Cheerleading was first appeared in Princeton University's American football game in 1880s. It has almost 140 years of history. Cheerleading is a sport which needs cheerleaders to execute complicated and highly difficult hand positions and basic dance movements, specific difficulties and transitional cooperation movements accompanied by music. It also needs cheerleaders to fully demonstrate the superb team sports skills and techniques, reflect the vigor and positive team spirit, and to strive for the highest honor of a team.Although it has been only 12 years since cheerleading entered our country in 1999, it takes the fancy of youngsters for its unique charm. However, for the later starting, there is a certain gap between China's cheerleading development and American and European countries'. Additionally, China's cheerleading does not develop evenly among various regions because China is a country with a vast territory. Therefore, it is essential to hold cheerleading camp focused on the training of cheerleading spirit and correct techniques and skills for the right and rapid development of China's cheerleading.The purpose of this study was to compare China's cheerleading training system and American cheerleading training system by the facets of training system, training institutions, training contents, and training instructors etc. Literature reviewing, interviewing, surveying, and comparative analysis were employed to conduct the analysis and compare in this study. The conclusions on China's cheerleading training system are including:1 No complete training system of China's cheerleading training has been established.2 China's cheerleading training information network has lagged behind seriously.3 China's management of cheerleaders' enrollment is not strict enough and safety requirements have been ignored.4 China's cheerleading training form is relatively unitary. 5 China's cheerleading training has been lack of reasonable content, difference in difficulty levels, rich content, and specific.6 China's cheerleading training instructors are relatively not transferable and lack of cutting edge knowledge.7 China's cheerleading training has ignored the evaluation to training camps.
