With the launching of new curriculum and promotion,history textbooks,as the most direct and fundamental reform of the history,will undoubtedly become the focus of attention. To realize the nature of history education, history textbooks must be "leaarned textbook"to"learning textbook".How does the history textbooks do that?As the cells of history,the history materials are the key to this transformation.Because historical materials are the basic material for the study of history,and history is particular about "theory from the history",and historical perspective and knowledge about all the old stems come from historical research, so to return to the essence of History Education:to cultivate students'historical thingking,we must pay attention to the role of historical data.It is the most cruciall point to change successfully that the history textbook uses the history materials effectively.In this paper,the research object is the history textbook of senior high school of PEP,which meets the requirements of the new curriculum standard. At Combined with the existing research results,I research on the using historical materials of history textbooks by the use of the knowledge of history,pedagogy and psychology. By induction, it is analysed that the history textbooks,under the new class of PEP,use the history materials of the usage and application of historical methods.At the same time,by means of the usage and application of historical methods,it illustrates the function changes of history textbooks by analyzing the changes from the system under the new code version to the old code version. Meanwhile, on the basis of individual studies, I put forward some thoughts and insights about the use of the history materials of history books of PEP on the New Curriculum Standards.This article describes three aspects. First,it expounds historical materials overall in the history textbooks under the new class, including the classification of historical data, historical features and the use of form and historical role in the history books. Second, comparing the version compiled with the system,it expounds the reason of the change in the two differend code versions,and explain the functional changes of history textbooks by comparing the use of historical data and the description. Third, under the new class in the historical use of PEP textbook,some questions and suggestions are put forward in the history textbook of PEP on the use of history materials.
