The teaching of ancient Chinese poetry requires to imparting the relevant knowledge of ancient Chinese poetry to students, but also raising student's esthetic appeal. Therefore, it is always the focal point of Chinese teaching research. According to the data analysis of questionnaire, the current status of ancient Chinese poetry teaching is not optimistic. The thesis, in response to this, probes into the enjoyable teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in the middle school.The first part defines the study issues and methodology adopted. Combining with extensive document literature, it tries hard to analyze the current issues in order to reflect the current situation of ancient Chinese poetry teaching objectively and comprehensively.The second part adopts the methods of questionnaire survey, which is conducted with junior high school Chinese teachers and students respectively. On the basis of the statistics outcomes, it indicates the lacking of impassioned teaching methods in ancient Chinese poetry teaching has resulted in the worrisome situation of ancient poetry teaching.The third part focuses on the connotation and necessity of impassioned teaching of ancient Chinese poetry. The impassioned teaching of ancient poetry is meant to educate as much as to entertain through novel and unique lecturing to further enhance the appeal of ancient poetry and raise the interest of students in it, which will render the students accepting the knowledge of ancient Chinese poetry in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The expansion of impassioned teaching of ancient Chinese poetry will not only promote Chinese culture and cultivate the innovativeness and imagination of students, but an important method to train the aesthetic interest of students.The fourth part proposes the strategies to expand impassioned teaching of ancient Chinese poetry. It emphasizes the cultivation of aesthetic interest of students from the perspective of teaching content and methods as well as the designing of fascinating lead-in to open the gate of impassioned teaching. Furthermore, it lays stress on creating a relaxed classroom environment to guide students to read ancient poetry with emotion, but also leaving space artistically to inspire the imaginations of students to expand their thinking and understand the ancient Chinese poetry in a diverse way.The fifth part is the last reflection on and sum up, I hope to find the taste of the problems in the teaching process are criminated. Trying to achieve the best results in teaching.Teaching of ancient Chinese poetry is both a subject and an art. Teachers not only needs to have a good grasp of emotionality and rationality of emotion implied in ancient poetry, but being good at arousing students'initiative and aspiration to knowledge so as to lead them into the mood of ancient poetry and understand it with his own thoughts and emotions. More importantly, it will assist to arouse students'creative abilities and construct his own spirit world to perfect his own life ideal on the basis of understanding of ancient poetry.
