Internet features the 21st century. With the economic, social, scientific and technological development, the fast growing and spreading internet is extending to every corner of the world and exerting great influence on all aspects of people's life. Characterized by openness, privacy, virtual reality, and practicability, it is especially appealing to postgraduates because of the spirit of freedom, communication and equality. The web has become an integral part of their daily life. Universities, as one of the most popularized and dense net environment, encounters paramount internet effect. Bringing endless conveniences to their life and opportunities to their moral education, the internet also affects this special group of people negatively, significantly transforming their ideology on life, value, marriage, study and law. Campus internet has become not only the focus of social attention, but the difficulties and new challenges of postgraduate moral education. Hereafter through this treatise, the writer hopes to provide some useful ideas and references on how to cope with the challenges and carry out postgraduate moral education more efficiently.This article is composed of six parts.Part one is the introduction. It contains background information of internet-affected postgraduate moral education, the development of internet, content of moral education and the gist of this study. Part two is about the current situation of internet-affected postgraduate moral education, poll analysis on internet usage, the effect of internet on their morality, ideology, mental and physical health and social relationship.Part three is concerned with new opportunities brought by internet, and elaborates internet's function of producing more attractive contents, creative methods, changing environment in postgraduate moral education, and making it more specifically and practicably.Part four is the analysis of the new challenges on postgraduate moral education and continues to elaborate internet's impact on the content, methods and environment of traditional moral education as well as the educators themselves. Negative effects on postgraduates'value are also stated in this part.Part five is to construct internet-based framework on postgraduate moral education and mainly analyzes the new principles, methods and contents.
