As a member of World Trade Organization (WTO), China is being influenced and will be in future by the WTO law and its systems in nearly every aspects especially foreign trade, policies of government, law-making, even citizens' life etc. Thus, it is necessary for China to promote the research of the WTO systems especially the WTO dispute settlement system, which China is influenced most by as the most terribly injured country of antidumping in all WTO member country.Dumping is an unjust trade practice, of which antidumping constitutes a rectification. Antidumping as a trade protection measures approved and permitted by the WTO is a prevailingly adopted action intended for protecting domestic industries; it also functions as a necessary tool in fighting this unfair competition. Antidumping measures have been undergoing constant improvement and strengthening; it becomes globally a principal component of trade policy and remedy. With China's readmission into the WTO, as a member state of the WTO it is a fact that China shall be subject to its rules and regulations: affected unavoidably by WTO antidumping agreement when China has been successfully involved in the international community.The author expects to give some appropriate suggestions for China through analysis of the developing process of the dispute settlement system, its basic procedures and characteristics. With the research works performed in this article regarding WTO antidumping agreement, in reference to the other country's antidumping legislation and application, the current situation of China's antidumping legislation and application is analyzed; specific measures are the main target of China's antidumping application research; it affers recommendations and ideas pertaining to China's antidumping laws and regulations. endeavoring to make them compatible with the WTO antidumping agreement, and seeking to render good service for China's economic growth.
