Pakistan is not only the friendly neighboring country of China, but also maintained special relations with US. It has a special meaning to analyze the triangle relations among Pakistan, U.S. and China, under the administration of Pakistani president Yahya Khan from March 1969 to December 1971.The triangle relations among U.S.-Pakistan-China had transformed and developed greatly since the Yahya Khan administration took charge in March 1969. Therefore that period symbolized as the 'watershed 'of their relations, which means their relations were better than before. The Yahya Khan Administration firstly concentrated on stabilizing the internal situation and achieved it quickly, improved the U.S.-Pakistani relation and followed the Sino-Pakistani friendship. With great effort, Yahya Khan offered a golden opportunity for the betterment of Sino-U.S. relation, building a 'communication bridge' across China and U.S., as well as promoting and enhancing the trilateral relation of U.S.-Pakistan- China. Coming to the conclusion that, the Yahya Khan administration has laid the foundation for the trilateral relations among U.S.-Pakistan-China, which yet have been transformed from 'one' s (one's relation with other)gain by another's lost or vice versa' into 'one's gain benefit all'.The 1971 crisis in South Asia and the normalization of Sino-U.S. diplomatic relation together pushed the cooperative relation between China and U.S. developing soundly. After the India-Pakistan war in 1971, Pakistan was divided into two countries, East (namely today's Bangladesh) and West Pakistan (namely today's Pakistan); India and the Soviet Union signed the treaty, which bears some military characters; so, in the whole Asia-Pacific region, it existed a new structure of China-Pakistan-U.S. relation (the Chma-Pakistan-U.S. relations were counterweighed by India and the Soviet Union alliance.)The Pakistan- U.S. relation has a multitude of structural characteristics, mainly, the stabilized relation between Pakistan and China, the complicated and unstable relation between Pakistan and U.S.; the strongly interactions of China-U.S.-Pakistan relation, but the main part (axis) of this triangle relation is the Sino-U.S. relation; the unique role, as Pakistan played with China and U.S. such as its geographical location and its functional relation with China and U.S. can act as 'information bridge', and have special influence on the trilateral relations, is very impressive significance. In addition, there are some theoretical implications on the triangle relations, name a few as following: firstly, national interests always prioritize the alliance's commitment; secondly, All-round Diplomacy bears more opportunities and can be more flexible, though the dilemma to coordinate all different countries' interests is still there. Thirdly, national security is fully integrated the internal security with external one. At last, the common national interests of one nation and another can include 'one cooperating with another, forming the alliance towards the third country', which has a remarkable cooperation on the short-term, and 'benefit all', which emphases on the long term.
