A Research Into Deng Yingchao's Idea Of The Liberation Of Women

Deng Ying-chao was one of the most outstanding women in Chinese modern history. She had led and focused on Chinese women's liberation movement for more than 50 years in her revolutionary career, and she accumulated extremely rich experiences about women's movement, through which she created her special theory about women's liberation. In the early period of May the 4th movement, Deng Ying-chao devoted herself into the practice of women's liberation movement in the current of patriotism and anti-imperialism. She started to work for the women's liberation and organized those female students and intellectual women in Tianjin to found petition group for suffrage.During the period of Kuomintang-the Chinese Communist Party cooperation , the ten years' civil war, the anti-Japanese war, and the liberation war as well as the period of foundation and construction of the new China , the reform and open, Deng Ying-chao' s theory of women's liberation movement experienced a processes of brewing,forming ,ripping gradually and perfecting at last, which has played an important role to the revolution, the construction and reform of China.This essay discusses the thoughts of women's liberation movement from four aspects. Firstly, to discuss the historical conditions about formation of the theory. Secondly, to analyze the historical development process of Deng Ying-chao's thoughts, and show the important role of the formation of women's liberation movement of the Party. Thirdly,to analyze its main contents and effects to the practice of women's liberation movement. Finally, to discuss the character and historical value , and show the enlightenment to current women's movement.
