The paper aims at 290 pieces of legal terms collected in Confucianism's documents of earlier Qin Dynasty and analyses their characters, heritage and development and cultural characters.During the bud, characters about legal terms of Confucianism's documents of earlier Qin Dynasty are as follows, non-statute legal terms are juvenility; the proportion of thesauruses has a large scale; although the singles are most among legal, the trend of doubles is evident and the legal terms often borrow from other folk vocabularies by parable.Comparing to the legal terms of the Bamboo Slips of Shui Hu county, we find that non-statute legal terms expand to the criterion, singularity, clearness because of the effects of social factor, language factor, human thinking factor and so on.The legal thoughts of Confucianism have being changed continuously. It grows from pointing out ceremonies but not laws to both ceremonies and laws. At the same time, influenced by patriarchal clan systems, middlebrow and other factors, the Chinese legal system has these facts such as clear scale, shame and injury penalties and so on.
