In China we have a saying goes like this,'One can always learn from the failure of his ancestors'. It is a crucial time for china to further improve the Marxism popularization. A deeper examination into the advocation and popularization of Marxism as well as the education of it in Soviet is of great importance. It will help us to build a scientific system of Marxism popularization, to strengthen its leading status to have a positive opinion on the impacts of multi-cultures, to make further alterations with the change of the world to improve the innovation of Marxism, to advocate and to apply the scientific development following the direction of the Marxism popularization in china.In this article we start with the development of Marxism in Soviet, take the Marxism documents as basis, the socialism realization as background, the Marxism popularization and the problems occurred in this process as focus to make a deep and systematic analysis of the different stages of Soviet Marxism popularization in case to find some useful inspiration for China.Besides the preface and the conclusion there are three parts altogether:First part, systematically describes the developing stage of Soviet Marxism popularization ideology. Finally we make the systematic argue in five stages as the start stage, coming into being stage, further developing and consummating stage, changing stage and the deviation stage of the Soviet Marxism popularization ideology.Second part, we make the systematic analysis about the content and the operation of Soviet Marxism popularization. Thirdly we would need to alter with the changing world and innovate the theories to provide a theoretical basis for it. Finally in case to popularize the scientific development with an idea of 'human oriented' we must follow the direction of the Marxism popularization and to take the people's living and interests into consideration.
