The competition centre of world tourism industry has already changed over to the Asian-Pacific area at present, especially the coastal area will be the most important thing of the competition. The tourism resources in the coastal area of Fujian is more abundant and excellent not only in Fujian province but also in China. Its domestic and international visitors reception amount and earnings are the first place of the whole province. Although this area is the main body of the tourism industry in Fujian province, there are many problems in this area , such as insolated management of the tourism industry, doing things in his own way , tourism development at different stage. As a result, this weaken the whole benefits of tourism exploitation in the coastal area of Fujian. On the bases of analysis of tourism spatial structure in the coastal area of Fujian, in this paper, the author try to optimize the structure so as to improve the whole benefits of tourism exploitation and to realize sustainable development of regional tourism industry.First of all, the author give a study summarization on tourism spatial structure both at home and abroad, and go into particulars its contents, theoretical foundation , directive significance in tourism exploitation. Then with above-mentioned theory and contents the author make an analysis of the tourism spatial structure in the coastal area of Fujian and offer the suggestion of optimizing structure. Setting up a tourism resources evaluating model suitable for the coastal area of Fujian, we carry on quantitative appraisal to the development condition of the tourism resources in the coastal area using The Analytic Hierarchy Process, and come to a conclusion that the tourism resources in the coastal area of Fujian has three corresponding market-foreign, domestic and local. Structure of tourists source market in the coastal area of Fujian consists of two markets-Domestic market and entry market. Each tourists source market has three grades-core market, basic market and chance market. After establishing a model, we forecast each market. Domestic market and foreign market made up of two parts of the structure of tourism products and each part is formed by corresponding products system. At last, based on the analysis of spatial composing process and model of regional tourism system, of regional tourism exploitation time and sequence (preferential developing region), of regional tourism exploitation mode, of regional tourism spatial relations, and of tourism center (main developing region), the author offer the suggestion of optimizing regional tourism spatial structure. That is establishing one tourism zone, two tourism growth poles (a two-core larger tourism circle) and three tourism function groups.
