On The Investment Environment In Guangxi

ABSTRACTS Being faced with the opportunity of 慏evelopment of West in China?mid 慍hina afler EnUy W1~O? the precondition and ensurance of development in Guaagxi is to improve the investment environment and use more foreign investment So, it抯 veiy important to study the investment environment of Guangxi by the numbers. Based on the actual situation of using FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), this thesis analyzes the investment environment of Guangxi comprehensively from three aspects. factor, region, and industry. The findings are, although the using of FDI is good, the total lever of the investment environment of Guangxi is very poor The following is the explanation. Analyzing on the factors of investment environment in Guangxi, there are four aspects need to be improved most, that is: a. the low using rate of natural resources; b. the behindhand lever of development of economy; c. the weakness of infrastructure; d. the low lever of science and education. Analyzing on the investment environment of regions in Guangxi, the findings lie in two aspects: a. The central developed cities, such as Nangnin& Guilin, Liouzhou, Yulin and so on, are the preponderant locations of investment environment in Guangxi, b. There is biggish disparity among different regions in Guangxi, and the basic principle of improvement is to correspond. Analyzing on the investment environment of industiy in Guangxi, the findings also lie in two aspects: a. It抯 not much fit between the situation of using FDI and the factual development lever of industry in Guangxi. The sum of FDI using by agriculture is more less than the second and third industry, and latter is lack development; b The necessary means of improvement is to adjust the industrial structure. At the end, this thesis point out the five mostly problems of investment environment in Guangxi: a. the low exploitation and using rate of natural resources; b. the weakness of infrastructure; c. the low lever of science and education; d. the behindhand lever of development of economy; e. the behavior and function of government is not so good.
