| The object of this thesis is the vocabulary of Gu ZhangJue Chen which is the fiction of ming dynasty. The vocabulary of this novel is very rich . It is filled with many dialectical words and merged some language of lower stratum, so it is capable of reacting the language style of zhejiang zone. This thesis seek to analysis the vocabulary of the book systemly. We mainly chose the three-syllable words and four-syllable words of multi-syllable words﹑ words allotropy﹑ the operation of character as the object. we hope through the comparison of synchronic and diachronic, the vocabulary features of the book will be highlighted.this thesis is made up of four chapter. The first chapter is prodrome. It mainly discuss the value of the words﹑the status quo and significance and the study methods . The second chapter is the analysis of the multi-syllable words,mainly draw on mr. zhoujian's data and research methods to compare past and present. The third chapter is the analysis of the fourty seven words allotropy and the operation of character of Gu Zhang Jue Chen,through the comparison of ancient and modern,reflecting their developing process . The fourth chapter is the emendation of Chinese Dictionary,including the terms and documentary evidences.We hope the Chinese Dictionary will become more and more perfect. Finaly through the study of the vocabulary of Gu Zhang Jue Chen,we can explore the development context and the characteristics of the times of chinese vocabulary,and we also hope it can provide some reference for the lexical history.
