Hearing-impaired middle school students live in a silent world, they are more likely to generate more negative emotion, psychological conflict and experience low self-esteem. Self-esteem is an important factor of mental health, it influences social behavior. For the same information, individuals with different levels and types of self-esteem will select a different content. Therefore, from a psychological point of view to study the memory bias of hearing-impaired middle school students with different levels and types of self-esteem prefer a heart to.This study is divided into two parts: the first study by Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and Implicit Association Test on 120 hearing-impaired middle school students is to explore the characteristics of their explicit and implicit self-esteem; the second study is based on the first one. In this study, a prior study to select the materials will be used in the official test (the positive words and negative words) is conducted, and then the subjects in study one were divided into four groups according to the type of self-esteem. Finally, a test with 4×2 within subjects design to study the relations between the different types of self-esteem and memory bias of the hearing-impaired middle school students, and draw the following conclusions:Firstly, the explicit and implicit self-esteem of hearing-impaired middle school students are not significantly correlated, they are two independent structures.Secondly, the implicit self-esteem of hearing-impaired middle school students exists significant gender differences, the level of implicit self-esteem of male are significantly higher than female; The implicit self-esteem of hearing-impaired middle school students are significantly related to hearing aids, the level of implicit self-esteem of hearing-impaired students who do not use hearing devices are significantly lower than those use hearing devices. Thirdly, hearing-impaired students with high level of self-esteem have a positive memory bias; hearing-impaired middle school students with low level of self-esteem does not have a positive memory bias; hearing-impaired middle school students with low implicit self-esteem have stronger memory bias(whether positive or negative bias) than those with high implicit self-esteem.Finally, hearing-impaired middle school students with fragile high self-esteem have the best positive memory bias; hearing-impaired middle school students with the same low self-esteem have the best negative memory bias; hearing-impaired middle school students with secure high self-esteem have the worst negative memory bias.
