Ge Hong is considered as one of the distinguished scholars in religious Taoism in the Period of Wei Jin. His books such as Baopuzi and Shenxianzhuan, are not only the monographs of Taoism, which also contains a wealth of Aesthetics. What affects the Taoist ideal framework of Ge Hong, and what are the characteristics and values of the framework are the focuses of this article. Meanwhile, starting from the ideological origins, the article uses both historical and logical methods giving the aesthetic ideology of inquiry and interpretation, all of which consider the historical background to it.The first chapter is on Ge Hong's immortal ideal. Ge Hong's framework inherited the thought of "Fangxian Taoism", Taoism during Yan and Qi of the Warring States Period, drawing on the immortal side of early technology. Meanwhile, it used "abstruseness" "Tao" and "same" as the logical starting point, pursuing of immortality immortal realm, and the ultimate goal is in order to get into the fairy world to realize the philosophy of Taoism in reform and transformation.The second chapter deals with the pursuit of Beauty of Ge Hong's personality. Ge Hong regarded immortal as a beautiful goal of life, and shaped the personality and immortal beauty blend together. He advocated developing Beauty with Tao and achieved Tao by developing Beauty. Besides, he thought only by persisting doing good and with the base of loyalism filial piety, etc., can one become to immoral. And "the Personal Beauty" actually means "immortality", the definition of beauty with a distinct personality of Confucianism color, beyond Zhuangzi's inaction of life, with real progressive.The third chapter is on the Ge Hong's aesthetic ideas. In recognition of the objectivity of the beauty, Ge Hong then explained the diversity of it, advocating peaceful is beautiful; that the main two differences between aesthetic object and aesthetic lead to differences in the objectivity of aesthetic so one must note on the aesthetic appreciation. The importance of aesthetic activity, that will only have the ability to find beauty in the aesthetic, it is necessary to improve the aesthetic cultivation and appreciation of the subject. Ge Hong's aesthetic idea of the aesthetic came from the standpoint of elite class, so there are inevitably limitations of time and class.Ge Hong's immortal Daoist religion is Hyun-based, pursuits of longevity, and the unity of God,spirit and body, changed immortality into the character. He insisted Daoismrather than Confuciannism. His aesthetics focused on the unity of cultivating oneself and celestial. His aesthetics started from the theme of Hyun Daoism. The aesthetic ideal departured from tradition, but not adhere to tradition, which was sometimes in consistent to Daoism, sometimes returned to Daoism. He supplied many different fresh views, which was able to inspire future generations and had high research value.
