A Profile Of The Cultural Revolution Literature

During the Cultural Revolution period, besides Study and Criticize,the periodical Zhaoxia is the only publication which existing throughout Cultural Revolution period. But, so far, the magazine has been lacking necessary concerns and systematic research. There was such tendency to the research on Cultural Revolution Literature before: using criticism with political standards to replace literary researches , or just staying around the general concept level of Cultural Revolution Literature; people were always subjected to limited study patterns of just talking the general concept of Cultural Revolution Literature, but hardly probed into inner part of Cultural Revolution Literature. This thesis tries to make a new attempt to probe deep into the internal concrete literary phenomenon in Zhaoxia.With general background of the Cultural Revolution Literature, and with the articles in the periodical as the main object and the literary forms as the dividing standards, the thesis, from the literary viewpoint, tries to revivify the periodical's original features, thus display the its value to understand and study Cultural Revolution Literature. The research includes three aspects:The first is general introduction to the periodical, including the creation, evolution, publication and edition, operating principles, political and collective features;The second, take literary forms as the dividing standards, mainly displaying some facts of composition in poetry, novel, drama and prose, thus analyze how they are subordinate to Cultural Revolution; The third, since the theoretical animadversion has the important position in this magazine, regarding it as an individual case, mainly discuss the movement of advocating Lawism and combating Confucianism and the comments on Outlaws of the Marsh and.Through analyzing these aspects, thesis tries to make the people, whether ever experiencing Cultural Revolution or not, further understand the Cultural Revolution Literature when they come across it, and also make a beneficial trial for those who would like to devote to studying the Cultural Revolution Literature, thus help people avoid the appearance of "losing words" when they mention "Cultural Revolution Literature" from the literary viewpoint.
