With the development of movies and television media, the image culture had been flourishing and became the most important culture gradually in the 1990's. The traditional culture depends on printing has been impacted powerfully unprecedented. The literature writing has been transformed by the powerful impact. Studying the influence of movies and television media on Chinese literature especially on the novel writing in this time has the extensive meaning and social value.This thesis mainly focuses on the novel writing in 1990's. On the base of summarizing the character of the new media culture ,we are trying to find the change of the novel writing in the impact of the new media and how the novel writing absorbs the art character of the movies and television media .At first ,the thesis analyzes the main character of the new media culture ,then discusses the change in the concept of the novelist, the subject of the novel and the writing skill .Through the study , we find that the impact of the new media culture is the main reason of the change of the 1990's novel writing.
