The feminist critics hold that women are obliged to be absent and silent in a patriarchal society. Therefore, only when women took the pens to do writings can they find the social status by receiving the challenge of the speech controlled by the thought of masculine worship.Zhang Ailing did take such a pen, a "rebelling" pen.
