With the rapid development of science and technology, human cognition has marked some new characteristics with more and more emphases on human beings as the main body. It becomes a big issue for modem researchers on epistemology to study how proper exertion of men as principal parts can form principal moral personality in favor of the times. In this paper, the author has made a systematic and in-depth discussion on the old issues and new tasks of the subject of æ…¼uman as the main body? from the perspectives of theory and practice by adopting the research methods of applying theory to practice, making portrait comparisons and referring to historical records, and put forward some new viewpoints and research methods. Research procedures are as follows. Firstly, to demonstrate the necessity of studying the problem of subjects under the circumstance of free market economy, knowledge-based economy and development of the west regions. Secondly, to make a systemic study of the history and developmental orbit of subject ideology, with more time and energy on the theory in Marxist Philosophy, and with some reference to related contents in Western Philosophy and traditional Chinese Philosophy. Thirdly, to make some new perception and generalization of the meaning of subjects, and to dialectically deal with their major traits such as independence, activity and passivity, to provide preconditions and theoretical bases for the reflection of subjects. Fourthly, to put forward a proposal that education should aim to train people to be moral-judgematic and moral-selective, and a series of measures to implement it, on the basis of the concepts and features of subject moral personality.
