The influence of mass media on style-writing and style-reading A current style is a leading concept or a way of conduct followed or copied by people in society, which can be a trend influencing others on fashion styles, life conduct and customs as well as thought, etc. In other words, the current style is becoming one of life substace and living way of metropolitans to some extent. So it certainly influences the way of literary writing when its effect on rights is developed. But up till now the academic circles, especially the literary circles do not pay enough attention on the study of current style and mass media. And much to our regret, the study is absence from the infiltrating influence of style-consciousness on the writing way when the word acts as a sign. Not only from the point of view of mass cuture, this thesis also tries to analyse the process and the way of mass media influence on the new writing and reading form at a different angle of Mass Communication Theories and cutural criticism.
