In Modem Times, after the Opium War, Mongolian people suffered from merciless oppressions and exploitation by foreign imperialist powers and Chinese feudal nobles. Thus an idea of anti-foreign emperialism, anti-feualism and anti-religion was formed, and they argued for equality among all nationalities.Based on these thinkings, they put great efforts forth in exploration path of self-reliance.They put forward new deals like to develop edueation cause; to strengthen the national defence by troop training and raising military expenditure; to develop industry, agriculture and animal husbandry. Modern Times Mongolian thinking enlightened the people in Mongolian areas, and had an powerful influence on Mongolian prospect. As a result, it also affected the social progress in Inner Mongolia and the revolutionary process in the country.Mongolian nationalism thinking established basics of equality among all nationalities. The struggle against foreign emperialism and feualism conducted by Inner Mongolian people had been a part of Chinese people's struggle. Inner Mongolian Nationalism thinking constitutes a part of the Chinese people thinking.
