| Chinese entrepreneurs are a special group of unnegligible persons in modern Chinese history. They are abundant in financial resources, enlightened in mind, with the guide of Christian doctrine in their industrial activities and management practice, and they mostly embark on philanthropy to verify the Christian spirit. Zejiu Song, one of prominent patriotic industrialists as well as a leader in modern Tianjin, has his representative Christian belief. This thesis takes Zejiu Song as an individual case, bases upon on-the-pot investigation as to gain rich original information, in application of science of religion, history, sociology and management, by research technique of analysis and deduction. From the observation of politics, economics and religion, it combines Song's religious faith with his practical experience and studies impact of Christian belief upon ideas, industrial campaign, management of enterprise and social undertakings, so as to exhibit the true colors of a Christians and to disclose Christian entrepreneurs' characteristic at the age of Republic of China, and to give implications for modern entrepreneurs with religious belief in their life and management practice.
