An Analysis Of The In-patient Charges And Its Related Factors For The Peasants Of New Rural Cooperative Medical In Chaoyang District Of Changchun

Objective:This article describes and compares the hospital costs ot the different characteristic residents, analyzes the in-patient charges and its related factors for the peasants of New Rural Cooperative Medical in Chaoyang district of Changchun City, discussing the efficient path to reduce the charges, to adjust the New Rural Cooperative Medical policy for providing the theory basis reasonably, to promote the new rural cooperative medical care the sustained and healthy development in Chaoyang district.Methods:Based on the existing research results and the typical survey, according to the receipt which reimburses in the entire district, according to reimburses people, the invoice amount, visiting medical institutions, reimbursement rates and other derived from reimbursement software, check the hospital records documented age, sex, discharge diagnosis, length of stay, etc., with Excel aggregate data screening, and rigorous review of data entry. Uses the SPSS13.0 software package to carry on the statistical data.Result:The number of the female farmers suffering from the illness is over that of the male, and the patients are mostly between 40-60 years old in Fufeng,Leshan and Yongchun counties in Chaoyang district of Changchun city, accounting for 33.95%,31.73% and 36.63% respectively in the whole system of the year. The costs for the female patients in cooperative group are much lower than that of the male. By comparing the costs of the farmers in cooperative group from different age groups, the total cost, the inspection fees and medicine cost for age group of 40 to 60 years old are much higher than others. After comparison of the in-patient charges for cooperative group farmers from different regions, the total charges for the cooperative group farmers in suffering illness in Fufeng county is higher than that from those in Leshan and yongchun county.Conclusions:1. The patient's age, gender, place of residence and so is the influencing factors of hospitalization. Meanwhile, the age factor is the most important factor of the cost of hospitalization in this study. Western medicine costs accounted for the largest proportion of hospital costs among the various branches of the cost, accounting for more than half of the total cost of hospitalization. It can be seen that the key to control the hospitalization costs or even medical costs is reducing the costs of Western medicine.2. Among all the levels of hospital in hospital patient's compensation, province (city) level hospital benefit people most, followed by township hospitals, county (area) level hospital is the least, while the level of the total compensation amount and time compensates amount, township hospitals benefit people least,the county (area) level hospitals and the province (city) level hospitals times are almost the same amount of compensation, this is due to income, hospital coverage, the distance from the hospital and the wishes to doctor, and many other personal factors, which play a major role in income. This shows that our compensation should be combined with the actual situation of hospitalized patients,and the new rural cooperative compensation system is designed to guide farmers on the implementation of rational treatment.
