Clinical Research Of Different Frequencies Of Electro-acupuncture On The Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion

Objective:To observe clinical efficacy of different frequencies of electro-acupuncture on the treatment of Lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion and integral vary of different syndrome before-after treatment, analyze the clinical efficacy of different frequencies to different syndrome, primary study the invigorating and purging effect of different frequencies electroacupuncture stimulation and summary it, provide canonical and objective quantitative criteria therapies in clinical research and to make it spread and exploitation in clinical treatmentMethods:The 60 cases of Lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion patients, consulted efficacy standard formulated, were all rooted from acupuncture department of outpatient and hospitalized service of HuBei hospital of TCM. The 60 cases, were divided into deficiency-syndrome group and excess-syndrome group according to its symptoms, and also randomly divided into treatment group with low frequency electro-acupuncture and control group with high frequency electro-acupuncture, both of which consisted 15 cases of deficiency-syndrome and excess-syndrome patients. All of the patients above were treated with the same continuous wave and acupoint,and separately treated with 2Hz and 90Hz electro-acupuncture. Sixth was a period of treatment and it total had 4 periods with a rest in interval.I observed integral varies of its pain-lightening level, symptoms and physical signs and at last gave a evaluation after the period of treatment.Results:Compared with themselves before and after the treatment, each groups integrals varies on pain-lightening level, pain synthesized, symptoms and physical signs had remarkable difference (p<0.05). The integrals of pain-lightening level between the two group after the treatment had remarkable difference (p<0.05),which showed that the treatment group has a better effect in alleviating pain than the control group.The difference value integrals of symptoms and physical signs between the two group after the treatment had remarkable difference (p<0.05),which showed that the treatment group was excelled in improving symptoms, physical signs and daily life. The integrals of symptoms and physical signs between the two group after the treatment had remarkable difference (p<0.05), which showed that the treatment group had a better effect in deficiency-syndrome,control group had a better effect in excess-syndrome. It also manifested that low level electro-acupuncture may bias to re inforcing insufficiency and high level electro-acupuncture may bias to reducing excessiveness. The healing efficacy compariation of the two groups had remarkable difference (p<0.05), the treatment group and the total effective rate and had a high effective rate than the control group, with p<0.05, which was shown that the total effective rate, crue rate of the treatment group is higher than that of control group.Conclusion:It has definite clinical efficacy of treating Lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion with electro-acupuncture in different frequencies. The low frequency has a better effect in efficacy and alleviating pain than the high frequency.The low frequency has a better effect in deficiency-syndrome and high frequency to excess-syndrome, which surmised that low frequency biased toward reinforcing insufficiency and high frequency to reducing excessiveness. Based on the reinforcing and reducing effect of electro-acupuncture, we could treat different symptoms of Lumbar.intervertebral disc protrusion with different frequencies in clinical practice.,to raise its efficacy. Simultaneously,we tried to use electro-acupuncture, which was easy quantified, to replace traditional needling techniques, so it could provide scientific foundation for scientific research, and formulate unitive quantized standard.
