Clinical Observation On Bu Shen Jian Pi Liang Xue Prescription Treating IgA Nephropathy Of Pure Hematuria

Objetive:To observe the clinical effects and security of traditional Chinese herbs which are used to treat IgA nephropathy of pure hematuria by the studying of IgA nephropathy of pure hematuria treated with Bu Shen Jian Pi Liang Xue prescription. Explore the best treatment of the disease.Method:64 patients were selected from the HuBei Province Hospital of TCM who suffers from IgA nephropathy of pure hematuria. They were divided into two groups at random:Bu Shen Jian Pi Liang Xue prescription group A and Huang Kui Capsule group B. Each group had 33 cases. Group B was treated with Huang Kui Capsule and other treatments according to the symptoms while group A was treated with Bu Shen Jian Pi Liang Xue prescription and other treatments according to the symptoms. The treatment lasted 8 weeks.We observe the symptoms, signs and urinary red cell, Urine-Rt, Blood-Rt, Cr, BUN and Live Function pre-treatment and past-treatment. The results were analyzed statistically in t, x2 and Ridit test.Result:1. One case missed in group A.2. In group A,18 cases significantly effective,10 cases effective and 4 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 87.5%; In group B,12 cases significantly effective,14 cases effective and 7 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 78.79%. There was no significant difference between them (P>0.05)3. The accumulative mark of TCM symptoms had decreased after treatment in both of group (P<0.01). There was significant difference between them past-treatment (P<0.01)4. The urinary red cell had decreased after treatment in both of group (P<0.01). There was no significant difference between them past-treatment (P>0.05)5. There were no harmful effects on the patients except one patient felt sick in group A. The patient felt well a few days later. It indicated that Bu Shen Jian Pi Liang Xue prescription was safe.Conclusion:Bu Shen Jian Pi Liang Xue prescription was effective in improving symptoms, signs and urinary red cell. So it was a safe, effective way to treat IgA nephropathy of pure hematuria.
