| Objective:By investigating the degeneration of adjacent segment disc for patients with congenital fusion, forecast the degeneration of adjacent segment disc after anterior cervical fusion with internal fixation, as the further theoretical basis for the application of the surgery of anterior cervical elastic fixation.Methods:Collected the congenital cervical fusion patients from the Nanjing Military Region Fuzhou General Hospital outpatient and inpatient,who is diagnosed by X-ray form January 2007 to January 2010.a total of 31 cases, male 21 cases, female 10 cases.Randomly selected 30 cases of no history of cervical spondylosis as a normal control group from Hospital medical centers. Both groups to shoot cervical MRI and X-ray of Neutral position and lateral. Observated the cervical lordosis and intervertebral disc degeneration.Scored according to the Pfirrmann grading standards and the degree of disc morphology, then statistically analyzed the results.Results:1. The congenital cervical fusion group significantly less than o the control group in the physiological curvature,both had very significant in statistics.2.There were 59 mild to moderate degenerative disc and 46 severe degenerative disc in congenital cervical fusion group, and in the control group were 113 mild moderate degenerative disc,16 severe degenerative disc. Both groups from the overall degenerate rate was no significant difference, but in severe disc degeneration,both groups was very significan in statistics.3. Compared the upper and lower adjacent segments to the non-adjacent segment in congenital cervical fusion group,there was significant difference.Compared the upper adjacent segments to lower adjacent segments,there was significant difference in statistics.Conclusion:1.Congenital cervical fusion lead to changes in physiological curvature.2.Congenital cervical fusion to accelerate intervertebral disc degeneration, disc degeneration adjacent to change significantly, and the fusion segments for the next disc from the previous disc degeneration change is obvious. |
