Professor Xu Jingfan Diagnosis And Treatment Of Epigastric Pain (Chronic Gastritis) Study On The Treatment

Research Object:Devoted himself to the Traditional Chinese Medicine for nearly 60 years, Professor XuJingfan has accumulated a multitude of experience in the treatment of splenico-gastric diseases, especially in the epigastralgia. Starting from the cases of patients who suffered from epigastralgia (chronic gastritis) and treated by Professor Xu, this research analyzes the dialectical thoughts, treatment, prescription and pharmacy so that the discipline of diagnosis and treatment of epigastralgia (chronic gastritis) could be systematized and formulated.Research method:This research adopted the method of retrospective study in which the information of 150 cases of epigastralgia patients treated by Professor Xu is collected and catalogued. A succession of four diagnoses are considered as an observation period for each patient which lasted more or less two months, thus about 600 diagnosis will be finally studied and analyzed via an Excel data base.Research Findings:Based on the statics observation of the 600 diagnosis of 150 patients, the results are as follows:1.The frequency from high to low of the main syndrome type of epigastralgia is Zhongxuqizhi Syndrome, Ganweibuhe Syndrome, Weiyinbuzu Syndrome and the combined syndrome type of epigastralgia is Shizu Syndrome, Shizhi Syndrome,Xueyu Syndrome and Weihan Syndrome.2.The majority of the main syndrome types remain what they were at the first diagnosis while some transform into other types, of which Zhongxuqizhi Syndrome occupies the minimum proportion with Weiyinbuzu Syndrome follows whereas Ganweibuhe Syndrome the largest part.3.The basic prescription of epigastralgia include: Baishao, Zhigancao, Jineijin, Foshou, Maiya, Fuling, Chenpi,Jianqu.4.The main syndrome type of Chronic superficial gastritis and its combined syndrome type distribution is consistent with the epigastralgia.5.The basic prescription of Chronic superficial gastritis and epigastric pain is the same basic prescription.6.The frequency from high to low of the main syndrome type of chronic atrophic gastritis is Weiyinbuzu Syndrome, Zhongxuqizhi Syndrome, Ganweibuhe Syndrome;The combined syndrome type distribution is consistent with the epigastralgia.7.The basic prescription for Chronic atrophic gastritis include:Baishao, Zhigancao, Jineijin,Foshou,Maiya,Fuling, Jianqu.8.The frequency from high to low of the main syndrome type of epigastralgia for young patients is Ganweibuhe Syndrome, Zhongxuqizhi Syndrome and Weiyinbuzu Syndrome; The combined syndrome type distribution is consistent with the epigastralgia.9. The basic prescription for young patients and epigastric pain is the same basic prescription.10. The main syndrome type distribution for Middle-aged patients is consistent with the epigastralgia and the frequency from high to low of the combined syndrome type is Shizhi Syndrome, Shizu Syndrome, Xueyu Syndrome and Weihan Syndrome. 11.The basic prescription for Middle-aged patients and epigastric pain is the same basic prescription.12.The frequency from high to low of the main syndrome type of epigastralgia for elderly patients is Zhongxuqizhi Syndrome, Weiyinbuzu Syndrome and Ganweibuhe Syndrome and the combined syndrome type is Shizu Syndrome, Xueyu Syndrome, Weihan Syndrome and Shizhi Syndrome.13.The basic presciption for elderly people include:Baishao, Zhigancao, Jineijin, Foshou, Fuling, Chenpi, Jianqu.
