| Objective:This research focuses on the correlation of dose and therapeutic of glycosides of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f(GTW) when we treat the proteinuria of Chronic glomerulonephritis(CGN) with it by different doses(regular doses and a double dose). To accumulate clinical experience of how to treat the proteinuria of CGN with a double dose of GTW.Methods:Sixty patients with proteinuria of CGN are chosen, thirty of them were treated with regular doses of GTW(20mg,three times a day), and others were treated with a double dose of GTW(40mg,three times a day). All patients are observed for one therapeutic courses, which last for two months. Major observed indicators include the changes of clinical symptoms and signs, urinary protein, quantitative of urinary protein for 24 hours and serum albumin which should be observed before and after treatment. Results:Regular doses and a double dose of GTW all can improve clinical symptoms of patients and lower urinary protein with qualitative and quantitative, also improve serum albumin quantitatively of patients. The total effective rate of regular doses is 73.3% and excellently-effective rate is 40.0%, while the total effective rate of a double dose is 90.0% and excellently-effective rate is 70.0%.Group of a double dose is better than group of regular doses with the total therapeutic and improving each laboratory efficacy indexes. (2) There are no significant differences between regular doses and a double dose of GTW with improving TCM symptoms. (3) There are also no significant differences between two groups with incidence of side effects. Conclusions:A double dose of GTW is better than regular doses in the short-term results of treating the proteinuria of CGN, and the side effects didn't increased significantly. If we can master the indications accurately, it is safe and effective for clinical application. |
