| ObjectiveAnalysis of early risk predicators within 24h after admission associated with death from severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Characterize the early clinical feature of death group and as a guideline of clinical practise.MethodsHospitalized medical records from 127 inpatients with sever acute pancreatitis admitted to our hospital within 72 hours after onset of symptoms from Feb 2006 to Jul 2009 were retrospectively analyzed. These inpatients were grouped into survival subgroup(102 cases)and death subgroup (25 cases). The clinical and laboratory data within 24h after admission were compared between these subgroups.ResultCompared with survival subgroup, death subgroup had significantly difference in heart rate, respiratory, PaO2,PH value, serum calcium, serum kalium, serum creatine,BUN,BE,LDH,serum albumin and APCHEâ…¡value.Greater APCHEâ…¡value after admission was only early high risk predicator. ConclusionDeath subgroup was characterized as severe multi-organ dysfunction and severe internal disturbance. Heart rate, respiratory, PaO2,PH value, serum calcium, serum kalium, serum creatine,BUN,BE,LDH,serum albumin and APCHEâ…¡value were considered as early predictors associated with death from sever acute pancreatitis.High APCHEâ…¡score was the only risk factor. |
