The Documental Study On Ming And Qing Dynasty Doctors Applying The Therapeutic Method Of Promoting Dampness Flow And Promoting Menstruation In Curing Amenorrhea

Objective: To collect and sort out prescriptions of amenorrhea which were cured by the application of the therapeutic method of from Ming and Qing Dynasty medicinal books,to summarize the prescription regularity,to explore etiology and pathogenesis and rule of prevention and cure.It was expected to guide how to use drug in clinic and provide new idea in curing amenorrhea,which could offer abundant concentrative literature and data for coming research.Methods:After consulting abundant Ming and Qing Dynasty medicinal books,there were to collect and sort out and arrange the prescriptions of amenorrhea which were cured by the application of the therapeutic method of promoting dampness flow to promote menstruation,to summarize the prescription regularity with frequency analysis and cluster analysis.Results:There are 82 prescriptions of amenorrhea which were cured by the application of the therapeutic method of promoting dampness flow to promote menstruation from Ming and Qing Dynasty medicinal books. Cumulative frequency of Chinese herb reaches 88.51%,which are restoratives,Chinese Medicinal Herbs for regulating gas,Chinese Medicinal Herbs for invigorating the blood and removing blood stasis,Chinese Medicinal Herbs for clearing heat,Chinese Medicinal Herbs for promoting diuresis and resolving dampness,Chinese Medicinal Herbs for relieving exterior syndrome or diaphoretics,Chinese Medicinal Herbs for resolving phlegm antitussive and antiasthmatic,Chinese Medicinal Herbs for eliminating dampness. Restoratives include Chinese Medicinal Herbs for nourishing blood,nourishing gas, nourishing sap.They accounted for restoratives'frequency of 95.17%,They do the main work.Warm,cold and neutral are the most that accounted for 96.61% in four nature. Sweet,pungentand bitter are the most that accounted for 97% in five flavors.Cumulative frequency of live, heart,spleen,lung is 95.95%.12drugs surpass 15 times,there are 4 cluster prescriptions.through cluster analysis.They are banxia, renshen,chaihu,shudi;baishao, baizhu;chenpi,gancao,xiangfu,chuanxiong;danggui,fuling.Conclusion:1)The prescription regularity of Ming and Qing Dynasty doctors applying the therapeutic method of promoting dampness flow to promote menstruation in curing amenorrhea are as follows:①strengening body resistance to dispel pathogenic factors,treatment both the root and branch aspects;②Warm,cold and neutral are the most in four nature,sweet,pungent and bitter are the most in five flavors;③The meridians of live,heart,spleen and lung are the most in all meridians;④Getting better curative effect if applying the fixed prescription and reform method together;⑤Thinking thoroughly of the principle of treatment in accordance with heart and body.2)The top 12 herbs form 2 herb unities according to their efficacy.They are herb unity for restorative and herb unity for soothing the liver to regulate gas.The herb unity for restorative are danggui,shudi,baishao, chuanxiong; renshen,baizhu, fuling,gancao;danggui,xiangfu;renshen.chenpi;chenpi, baizhu;chenpi,danggui.The herb for soothing the liver to regulate gas are chaihu,baishao,xiangfu;baishao,baizhu,chaihu.3)The etiology and pathogenesis of amenorrhea which was cured by the application of the therapeutic method of promoting dampness flow to promote menstruation from prescription corresponding symptom are as follows:syndrome of asthenia of blood and gas and of cold-dampness obstruction;syndrome of liver depression and spleen asthenia and of heat-dampness obstruction.4)The new idea of preventing amenorrhea are to be happy,to regard bite and sup.
