| Objective:To investigate the protective effects of grape seed proanthocyanidins on Hepatic Ischemia Reperfusion Injury in Rats. Methods: Forty-eight Wistar rats weighting (180–220g), were divided into three groups randomly:sham operation group, ischemia- reperfusion injury group(I/R), grape seed proanthocyanidins group. Each group was divided into 2 time phasesat 2h, 6h, here were 8 rats in each group.and the variation of SOD,MDA, AST, ALT in plasma were detected respectively. and the Bax and Bcl-2 expression were measured with immunoh is to chemical method. Results:1.Compared with the I/R group, the contents of MDA significantly lower in sham operation group, and here are P<0.01; and activity of SOD were step up, and here are P<0.01; Compared with the I/R group, the contents of MDA significantly lower in grape seed proanthocyanidins group, and here are P<0.05; and activity of SOD were step up, and here are P<0.01; 2.Compared with the I/R group, the activity of AST significantly lower in sham operation group, and here are P<0.01; and of AST were significantly lower, and here are P<0.01; Compared with the I/R group, the activity of AST significantly lower in grape seed proanthocyanidins group, and here are P<0.05; and of AST were significantly lower, and here are P<0.05; 3.Compared with the I/R group, the expression of Bcl-2 were significantly lower in sham operation group, and here are P<0.01; and of Bax were significantly increase, and here are P<0.01; Compared with the I/R group, the expression of Bax significantly increase in grape seed proanthocyanidins group, and here are P<0.051, and the Bcl-2 were decrease, and here are P<0.01; Conclusion: grape seed proanthocyanidins can protect the liver from the ischemia-reperfusion injury by decreasing the activity of oxygen free radical, rivalry lipid peroxidation down, and depression the expression level of apoptosis. |
