Comparative Studies Of Double Balloon Enteroscopy And Multidetector Row CT In Etiological Diagnosis Of Small Bowel Tumor

Objective To evaluate clinical diagnostic efficacy of double balloon enteroscopy and Multidetector row CT in small bowel tumors with comparison of diagnostic yield, safety and accuracy.Methods Twenty-two patients were suspected small bowel tumors who were performed double-balloon enteroscopy and Multidetector row CT, to analyze the diagnostic yield,safety and accuracy of double balloon enteroscopy and Multidetector row CT for small bowel tumors by the surgical,pathological and immunity histochemistry rusults. To observe the clinical symptoms of intestinal tumors and classification.Results Twenty-two patients were performed double-balloon enteroscopy and Multidetector row CT. Double balloon enteroscopy detected tumor 18 in 22 patients,the diagnostic yield was 81.8%,the accuracy was (18/18)100%.Multidetector row CT detected tumor 10 in 22 patients, the diagnostic yield was 45.5%, the accuracy was (10/18)55.6%,the diagnostic yield and accuracy of the double-balloon enteroscopy for small bowel tumors were better of Multidetector row CT, P﹤0.05,it had statistically significant . It had two cases of complications of double-balloon enteroscopy (2/22)9.1%, it had one case of complication of Multidetector row CT (1/22)4.5%,P>0.05, it hadn't statistically significant. 18 patients with small bowel tumors have some symptoms, alimentary tract hemorrhage 13 cases, abdominal distension 1cases, acute intestinal obstruction 1cases, stomachache 2 cases, belly lump 1 cases.there had 10 cases of interstitialoma,4cases of adenocarcinoma,4 cases of leucoma.Conclusions Double balloon enteroscopy surpass Multidetector row CT of the clinical value for small bowel tumors.The two methods were accuracy.
