| Purpose: The object of this study is want to evaluate the therapeutical function on asthma guinea pig's inflammatory response and provide theoretic evidence for Rechuan Oral liquid's practical use by investigating the syndrome, the content of nitric oxide (NO) and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in serum of guinea pig that is the model of the experiment.Method: 60 guinea pig were fed for a week on the same condition.And then they were randomly divided into 5 groups,12 rats in each group,including normal control group,asthma model group,dexamethasone group,low and high dose group of Chinese medicine and the normal control group.Each group were allergied by injecting 1ml Saline solution of ovalbumin 10% into abdomen,except the normal control group with equal volume of normal saline for instead.In the 15th day,guinea pigs allergied were put into the animal by-placed box spray apparatus,and attacked until to infecting asthma by spraying of 1% ovalbumin solution into the ultrasonic spray 15-20 seconds,2 every day,continuous 5 days,which is the model of asthma.In the 20th day,the group of low and high dose of Chinese medicine and dexamethasone were treated with medication,3ml each time,2 times a day,and do this for 7 days continuously,but the normal control group and the asthma model group were treated with equal volume of normal saline.After 1 hour with latest treatment,observing the incubation period of respiratory distress with solution of 1% ovalbumin inhalation 15-20 seconds.During the experiment,the change of body weight,the serum NO and NOS levels in each group of guinea pigs were recorded.Result: A high dose of Rechuan Oral liquid have influence both the body weight and animal latent period(P<0.01 or P<0.05).According to the results, the degree of inflammation of asthmatic guinea pigs were controlled by different dose respectively, but the high dose group is the best one.Conclusion: Rechuan Oral liquid could balance the breath by controlling the allergic inflammation of the trachea. |
