Objective composed of theoretical and experimental research,the paper discussed the application on borneol,triamcinolone acetonide and iontophoresis.Besides,it investigated the concentrations and the pharmaco-kinetic parameters of triamcinolone acetonide in the aqueous fluid of rabbits after iontophoresis and intravitreal injection.Methods the secondary group,twelve rabbits were dropped single with triamcinolone acetonide eyedrop(the concentration of triamcinolone acetonide is 4%).The third group,three rabbits only accepted iontophoresis.The fourth one,thirty rabbits accepted iontophoresis of triamcinolone acetonide(the concentration of triamcinolone acetonide is 4%) after borneol dropped eyes.The last one,twenty-four rabbits accepted intravitreal injection.The simples of aqueous fluid in the fourth groups were collected at 5min,15min,30min,45mi-n,1h,2h,4h,8h,12h,24h,while the fifth groups were collected at 15min,30min,lh,2h,4h,8h, 12h,24h after treatment. The left groups were colleted at 30min after treatment.The concentratio-ns of all the simples were determined by HPLC and the pharmacokinetic parameters were analyzed by DAS ver1.0.Results The pharmacokinetic parameters were as follows:the fourth one:t1/2(h)=2.201, tl/2ka (h)=0.110,Tmax(h)=0.500,Cmax(μg/ml)=0.0661,AUC0-24(mg/L*h)=1.193, AUC0-∞(m /L*h)=1.193.The last one:t1/2(h)=11.429, tl/2ka(h)=0.036, Tmax(h)=1.000,Cmax(μg/ml)=0.21 5,AUCO-24(mg/L*h)=2.251,AUC0-∞(mg/L*h)=2.950.ConclusionThe concentration of triamcinolone acetonide in aqueous is about 29.9561 times than in vitreous.Borneol didn't significantly promote triamcinolone acetonide through the cornea.Triamcinolone acetonide could be measured by simply drops,iontophoresis and intravitreal injection. Half-life of the former was about 2 hour and reached the peak at 30 minute,while the latter was 11 hour and reached the peak at 1 hour. The concentration of ionto-. phoresis is better than intravitreal injection,but the latter had longer half time period and slower metabolizer.
