ObjectiveTo observe the alterations of lung tissues and relevant indexes in rabbitacute lung injury (ALI) induced by aspiration of hydrochloric acid(HCL),and investigate therapeutic alliance effect of pentoxifylline ( PTX) withpulmonary surfactant(PS)in rabbit cute lung injury (ALI) induced byaspiration of hydrochloric acid(HCL).MethodsFifty healthy rabbits were randomly divided into 5 groups:HCL modelgroup(n=10),PTX treatment group(n=10),PS treatment group(n=10),therapeutic alliance group(n=10) and physiological saline control group(n=10).The rabbit actue lung injury models were made by HCLdropped in the trachea. At 7 hour after intratracheal instillation, all rabbits werekilled. The total protein concentration and total cellular score inbronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were measured .The ratio of lung wet todry weight (W/D) was measured as well. Then we needed to observe lunghistomorphology and so on.In the end , we compered the variations of allindexes among the above three groups.ResultResultsCompared with HCL model group,in PTX treatment,PaO2 and pHstepped up significantly, PaCO2 stepped down(P<0.01).The total proteinconcentration and total cellular score in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid were alldecreased significantly(P<0.05);The damage of lung tissue in PTX treatmentgroup was lighter than that in HCL model group through pathologicalobservation.Among reatment groups, the total protein concentration and totalcellular score in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid were minimum(P<0.05),andthe damage of lung tissue was lightest in therapeutic alliance group.ConclusionPTX,PS can significantly inhibit rabbit actue lung injury induced byHCL,it plays a important role in protecting lung tissues during thedevelopment of ALI.Therapeutic alliance has better protection than that ofsingle medicine.
