Short Term Clinical Evaluation Of ⁹⁹Tc-MDP In Treatment Of Osteoarthritis

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and security of 99Tc-MDP (methylene diphosphonate)in the treatment of osteoarthritis with painful.Methods 120 patients with OA were partnered by age,sex,VAS,Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (Womac Index),lequesne index,knee circumference and the volume of knee effusion,the trail group underwent inject vain by drip of 99Tc-MDP 10mg per week,the comparison group take diacerein (100mg/d)+celecoxib(0.2/d).Use VAS of the patients' vision simulation to the keen painful,Womac score,lequesne index,knee circumference and the volume of knee effusion improved as the evaluation of the efficacy,the feeling of the patient,lft,rft and br as the security of 99Tc-MDP.Result After 4 weeks,the VAS,Womac score and lequesne index of both group were all declined obviously, the trail group have a better efficiency, Among them, patients with knee effusion in the trail group is improved significantly better than the control group, the difference was significant, P<0.05.both of the group have a similar security.conclution 99Tc-MDP can quickly and effectively alleviate the symptoms of OA,and security,more effective than conventional treatment.
