Study On The Depression Situation Of Postoperative Chemotherapy Tumor Patients And The Effects Of Therapeutic Communication System Intervention

Objectives This study aims at investigating the prevalence and relevant factors of depression of postoperative chemotherapy tumor patients in medical oncology of third-class hospital of Hefei City to establish the model of therapeutic communication system intervention to reduce negative effect for quality of life and improve the level of holistic nursing for tumors.Methods The first stage: Uderstanding the general information , depression ,negative automatic thoughts, personality and quality of life of postoperative chemotherapy tumor patients by epidemiological investigation; The second stage: selecting 60 patients who were mild depression and moderate depression and assigning into intervention group(n=29) and control group(n=31) with randomized grouping, those in the intervention group attended the model of therapeutic communication system in addition routine care,while control group received routine care only. The data collected was analysed by Descriptive statistics, x2 test ,Independent-sample t test, Spearman Bivariate analysis and Stepwise Regression analysis, Paired t-test for the normal and Wilcoxon rank-sum test for the Non-normal.Results First: postoperative chemotherapy tumor patients investigated who have depression'incidence was 29.9%;⑵the age, vocational, family monthly income and lesion site were influencing factors for depression;⑶There is significant difference in negative automatic thoughts, personality and quality of life;⑷Stepwise Regression analysis showed : quality of life and personality were influencing factors for depression and negative automatic thoughts; second stage: the model of therapeutic communication system could reduce postoperative chemotherapy tumor patients'negative automatic thoughts and depression, improve their quality of life.Conclusions The age, vocational, family monthly income and lesion site,negative automatic thoughts, personality and quality of life were influencing factors for depression; There were some problems existing in depression, negative automatic thoughtand quality of life for postoperative chemotherapy tumor patients, especially for the depression patients;the model is proved to be feasible and effective to reduce postoperative chemotherapy tumor patients'negative automatic thoughts and depression, improve their quality of life.
