HuaYuxiaobi Decoction Taken Orally With The Cutem And Calcipotriol In Treating Plaque Psoriasis Vulgaris And Detection Of TNF-α And IL-8

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of HuaYuxiaobi decoction combined with cutem and the external use of Calcipotriol in treatment of plaque psoriasis vulgaris and to investigate the possible mechanisms and the function of TNF-αand IL-8 in the pathogenesis of PV. Methods:30 patients with plaque psoriasis vulgaris had received the HY combined with cutem and the external use of Calcipotriol for 12 weeks,compared with the other 30 received XiaoYin tablets and FuFangdanshen tablets and the external use of Calcipotriol. Measure the level of serum TNF-αand IL-8 before and after the treatment. Results:The clinical cure and obvious rate was 70.00%,the effective rate was 93.33%,the control group were 40.00% and 76.67%. As to the recrudescent rate and the side-effective rate,there were significant differences between the two groups. The level of serum TNF-αand IL-8 decreased obviously after the treatment. Conclusions:HY is effective in the treatment of plaque PV. The possible mechanisms of its action might be to be adjust the level of serum TNF-αand IL-8.Combined with cutum can promote the gradually vanish of cutaneous lesion,and then enhance the curative effect and short the treatment.
