Clinical Study Of Treating CAG Caused By Yang Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective: To observe the effect in treating Chronic Atrophic Gastritis (CAG) caused by Yang deficiency and blood stasis with WeiwenXiaowei Tang(XWT)and explore the mechanism of it. Methods: 60 patients with CAG were divided into two groups at random:the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group was given XWT,the control group was given Wei-Fu-chun. Symptoms and signs of each group were observed before and after the treatment,in-cluding gastroscopic and pathologic observing, Hp-killing rate. Results: The treatment group's main effective rate of the syndrome of TCM,main effective rate of the gastroscopic and pathologic observing and Hp-killing rate were 53.33%,66.67%,33.33%,62.50%;the control group's were 23.33%,26.67%,10.00%,26.67%.There is a significant difference (P<0.05)or very significant difference (P<0.01)between the two groups.XWT can improve more significantly the symptoms such as gasteremphraxis and gasteralgia than Wei-Fu-chun. Conclusions:XWT is a effective drug of treating CAG, it can moderate clinical symptom, promote recoverment of pathological changes,alleviate the patients'sufferings rapidly.
