The Adhibition Of AO Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS) With Screw Blade In The Treatment Of Senile Hip Fractures

Objective::To discuss the clinical efficacy of AO Dynamic Hip Screw(DHS)with screw blade in treating senile hip fractures.Methods:To retrospectively analyse 21 cases of senile intertrochanteric fracture received and cured from October 2009 to October 2010, which have complete clinical data. Average age is 72 years old(from 65 to 82). Reviewing relevant document literature and summarizing their clinical and radiographic manifestation,to grade using Japan JOA criteria of hip joint function and to make statistical analysis of the results. Results:Average time of follow-up visit is 9 months.All the fractures were healed,and average time of healing is 5 months.On the basis of Japan JOA criteria of hip joint function,excellent 10 examples(47.6%),good 10 examples(47.6%),fair 1 example(4.8%),poor 0 examples.Total effectiveness was 100%,and fine rate was 95.2%. Conclusion:Using Dynamic Hip Screw(DHS)with screw blade to treat intertrochanteric fractures is fixedly strong,and accurate.The curative effect is satisfied.
