Life Science is the most remarkable research areas during this century, while the human embryonic stem cell research (hESC research) which is the branch of life science is one of the most leading subjects in life science research. HESC research is getting more and more focus from countries all over the world, and its huge medicine application is leading a medicine revolution to the human beings. However, there are so many difficulties and barriers during the research, intense argument on the source, related laws and ethics come from various directions such as academic circle, the policy maker and even the entire society. This article did some research deeply on the hESC issues such as present situation and so on, the mainly work includes:1. The second chapter introduces the background of hESC research, making statistical analysis based on the HESC papers extracted by Web of Science during 1975-2008, understanding the research profile and the speed of the process objectively and globally, at last the chapter analyzes the compared data from China and other developed countries.2. Based on the current research process of hESC, the third chapter sets up the ANT and the actors in this network from the perspective of "Actor-Network", and then analyzes the influencing factors of the research and development of hESC. The forth chapter proposed the corresponding and pointed solutions, in order that the theoretic and practical significance of ANT in the research of hESC is deeply recognized.3. Proposed corresponding strategies and suggestion for enhancing the Chinese hESC research mechanism by combining the research situation and issues of hESC in China.
