Objective: To study the expression of p53 and ki67 in cystitis glandularis and the relationship between the different clinical type of cystitis glandularis and pathological type of cystitis glandularis and precancerous lesion. Methods: the 40 cases of cystitis glandularis are divided into four clinical types and three pathological types. The expression of Ki67 and P53 in the cases of different types of cystitis glandularis was detected by using immunohistochemistry SABC method. At the same time, the results of expression were analysed by the Computer Image Analysis System. Results: In the clinical types, the positive expression of Ki67 and P53 of the papillary type of cystitis glandularis and the intestinal adenoma type of cystitis glandularis was significantly higher than the normal bladder mucosa. The positive expression of Ki67 and P53 of the chronic inflammatory type of cystitis glandularis and the follicular type of cystitis glandularis was the same as the normal bladder mucosa. In the pathological types, the positive expression rate of P53 and Ki67 of the intestinal epithelial type of cystitis glandularis and the prostatic epithelial type of cystitis glandularis was significantly higher than the normal bladder mucosa. There was statistical significance(p<0.05). The positive expression rate of P53 and Ki67 of the transitional epithelial type of cystitis glandularis was as high as the normal bladder mucosa. Conclusions: In the clinical type, the papillary type of cystitis glandularis and the intestinal type of cystitis glandularis are precancerous lesion. In the pathological types, the intestinal epithelial type of cystitis glandularis and the prostatic epithelial type of cystitis glandularis are precancerous lesion. You should consider the upper two sides together to deduce whether the cystitis glandularis is precancerous lesion or not. If the papillary type of cystitis glandularis and the intestinal adenoma type of cystitis glandularis have intestinal or prostatic epithelial metaplasia ,the rate of its malignant change will be very higher.
