The Value Of Real-time Ultrasonic Elastography In Diaglosis Of Benign And Malignant Prostate Diseases

Objective:1. To explore elasticity score in the diagnosis of benigh and malignant prostate diseases.2.To measure the strain ratio of prostate lesion to the normal prostate tissue.The ROC (Receiver operating characteristic curve)curve was made according to the strain ratio.A strain ratio cutoff enable the best distinction between benigh and malignant prostate diseases. To explore stain ratio in the diagnosis of benigh and malignant prostate diseases.3. To constrast the clinical value of elasticity score and stain ratio on ultrasonography in differential diagnosis of benigh and malignant prostate diseases.Methods:Ultrasonic imaging festures of 61 prostate diseases patients with 69 lessions proved by pathology were observed. Difference of benign and malignant lessions in lasticity grade and strain ratio were analyzed, and senstivity, specificity, accuracy rate were calculated.Results:1. The majority of the elasticity grade in benigh lessions covered gradeâ… -â…¡, while malginant lessions covered gradeâ…¢-â…¤. The senstivity, specificity, accuracy rate of real-time ultrasonic elasgrophy in diagnosis of malignant lessions was 77.78%(28/36),72.73%(24/33) and 75.36%(52/69), respetively.2.According to the ROC curve analysis,the cutoff point of srain ratio was detemined as 4.525.Youden's index was 0.78. The senstivity, specificity, accuracy rate was 80.55%,77.78%,79.71%, respetively.3.The area under curve of(AUC) the strain ratio was suprior to that of elasticity score. But the diagnosis accuracy of the strain ratio and elasticity score was about the same in statistics.Conclusions:1.The elasticity score in ultrasonic elastography are helpful in the differential diagnosis of prostate diseases.2. While the cutoff point of srain ratio was detemined as 4.525. The strain ratio was helpful for the diffrenrtial diagnosis of benigh and malignant prostate diseases.3. Both the strain ratio and elasticity score are have an accuracy in the diagnonstic in the benigh and malignant prostate diseases, The diagnosis accuracy of them was about the same in statistics.
