Artificial airway is placed in the upper respiratory tract by the endotracheal tube or directly into the trachea of the gas channel established. The aim is to airway physiology and the air or other gas source connection between the effective to protect the airway. Common artificial airway with endotracheal intubation (oral, nasal), and tracheotomy. In severe head injury, cerebral hemorrhage, etc patients, tracheotomy is lifted airway obstruction, rescue one of the important methods of patients' lives. But the trachea cut, upper respiratory tract lose normal respiratory tract mucous membrane heating, humidifying, filtration effects, and cause the scab formation airway dry, phlegm, easy cause respiratory tract jams, even happen again. Clinical risk choking [work, maintain effective airway moist, reduce the trachea cut complications is crucial, airway moist deficiency can cause sputum sticky, sputum scab formation, lung infection; a wet process, increased risk can cause frequent excessive cough and shortness of breath, even happen to explore a more effective pulmonary edema. The airway to moist method of different doses, the continuous oxygen atomization and continue to drop the note a wet process, the effect of artificial airway makes a comparative study. Objective : To compare the effects of different doses of intermittent oxygen atomization humidification and continuous infusion humidification on artificial airway. Methods: One hundred and four patients with accepted racheotomy were randomly divided into four group A, B, C and D(n = 26). Patients of group A, B and C adopted intermittent oxygen atomization humidification with lipid of 6ml/h, 8ml/h, and 10ml/h respectively. Patients of group D adopted continuous infusion humidification with lipid of 10ml/h. Effects of airway humidification, Incidence of airway humidification complication and vital signs of each group cases were compared. Results: The rate of humidification satisfaction in group B was higher than that in group D ( P < 0. 05) . Incidence of airway humidification complication in group B( including irritating cough, P<0.01, airway mucosal hemorrhage, P<0.05, pulmonary infection P<0.05) and C ( including irritating cough, P<0.01, airway mucosal hemorrhage) was lower than that in group D. Compared with group D, PaO2 and SaO2 of group B were higher , heart rate and respiratory rate were lower (P<0.05)Conclusion: There is the same satisfaction of intermittent oxygen atomization humidification and continuous infusion humidification, and the former has lower incidence of airway humidification complication and oxygenation.
