| Objective:Compare the Bone Mineral Density of hipbone of 44 patients with Kidney-deficiency Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head in different stages and types to study the variation of BMD. Assess the value of BMD in diagnosis and treatment of ANFH and make the traditional Chinese medicine has a deeper understanding of ANFH.Method:4420～50 years old patients of ANFH were separated into 4 groups (AOFH ARCOⅡ, AOFH ARCOⅢ, SONFH ARCOⅡand SONFH ARCOⅢ) based on the standard of diagnosis, type and stage of ANFH. Measured and record the data of BMD of these patients with X-Ray Absorptiometry(DEXA) and analysis them to conclude.Results:1. Compare the number data of normal and decrease BMD, all of them are not statistically significant, which does not justify the rate of BMD decreasing occured in each group has different.2. The BMD of each part and total hipbone are not statistically significant in the comparison of AOFH ARCOⅡand AOFH ARCOⅢ.3. The BMD of each part and total hipbone are statistically significant in the comparison of AOFH ARCOⅡand SONFH ARCOⅡ.4. The BMD of each part and total hipbone are not statistically significant in the comparison of SONFH ARCOⅡand SONFH ARCOⅢ.5. The BMD of each part and total hipbone are statistically significant in the comparison of AOFH ARCOⅢand SONFH ARCOⅢ.Conclusion:1. neither the ANFH of same type in ARCOⅡandⅢnor the ANFH of same stage of alcohol-induced and Steroid-induced has different in the rate of BMD decreasing occurred.2. AOFH has more serious BMD decrease than SONFH in same stage.3. the "kidney generating marrow and dominating bone" theoretics in traditional Chinese medicine can explain the BMD decrease in Kidney-deficiency ANFH,but the BMD decrease is not an inevitable result of Kidney-deficiency ANFH.4. the specificity and sensitivity are not high enough if the BMD use as a diadynamic criteria of ANFH, and the sensitivity is not high enough if use BMD to forecast the collapse of femoral head. |
