| BackgroundAnxiety disorders are the most common mental disorders accompanied with physical disorders. Patients in general hospital have a higher morbidity. The demand for hospitalization, emergency services and medical treatment has increased. By analyzing the present research situation and the treatment progress of integrated Chinese and Western medicine for anxiety disorders, combined with the formation elements and treatment Characteristics of Xiao-Zhoutian Musical Talking Therapy, an explanation of the function of this special therapy will be illustrated from the aspects of Xiao-Zhoutian, musical therapy and talking therapy.ObjectivesThis research is using the Xiao-Zhoutian musical talking therapy to treat patients with anxiety disorder and to evaluate its clinical curative effect. Mainly for the purpose to find a substitution therapy of TCM to help patients with anxiety disorder for their psychosomatic rehabilitation, which can also help to reduce the side-effect of western medicine, and to increase the choice for patients with different culture background, promoting the development of TCM rehabilitation for anxiety disorder.Methods:Collected 60 cases of Patients met the study criteria, according to the order number of visitation combining with the random number table, the ratio of 1:1 is divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. Each group of patients were informed, considering their acceptance to the treatment and research, and made a health management file for them. The control group would take anti-anxiety drug based on the newest medication guide of psychiatric, for example, Deanxit 1 tablet per day, paroxetine 20-50mg per day. At the same time Chinese herbal tea, Ningxin decoction would be given to them before morning and evening meal according to the Chinese physique evaluation (chose patients mainly with Liver depress and spleen efficiency) and psychosomatic evaluation.Patients in treatment group were treated in hospital using the same Chinese herbal tea as control group and together with Musical Talking therapy along the Ren and Du meridian circle (Xiao-Zhoutian). Patients need to practice 3 times a day and no less than 40 minutes per each time, and at least once a week that needed a professional therapist in guide. Each patients in this group would get a CD. They can do the therapy at home in the morning, afternoon and at night. Patients in treatment group and control group would get their one-week treatment per visit, and had to make a subsequence visit in 7 days. Observation will carry on before treatment and 2 weeks after,4 weeks,6 weeks, 8 weeks, changes in HAMA integral to evaluation of the effect and the reduced rate. Then analyze all the data in order to judge the efficiency of this Musical talking therapy.Results:1. The general information including gender, age, course of disease, and HAMA scores before treatment of the two groups, there is. The baselines of the two groups are basically the same before treatment.2. HAMA scores of two groups after 2,4,6 and 8 weeks were significantly decreased after treatment, with statistical significance (P<0.05), it shows that treatment are efficient after 2,4,6 and 8 weeks. But HAMA scores between the two groups of 4,6 and 8 weeks have no significant difference (P> 0.05), it shows that treatments of the two groups after 4,6 and 8 weeks are almost with the same efficiency. But HAMA scores after 2 weeks shows statistical significance (P<0.05) between two groups, it shows that the efficiency is easier to get of the treatment than the control group.3. At the end of the observation period, recovery of treatment group in 9 cases, significant improvement in 16 cases,4 cases improved,1 cases invalid, with the efficiency rate 96.67%. The control group was 8 cases,15 cases,5 cases,2 cases, with the efficiency rate 93.33%. Difference between two groups had no significant (P>0.05). It shows that efficiency rate of the two groups are almost the same with each other.Conclusion:Both of the two groups were effect in treating anxiety disorder. But treatment group which used Chinese herbal medicine combining Xiao-Zhoutian therapy had less side effect and was much safer with quick efficiency, by which could strengthen the confidence of the patients. All this showed us the advantages of Chinese medicine in curing anxiety disorder, which deserved more research. |
