| Objective:To explore the efficacy of Dan zi kang xi granules in the treatment of the knee osteoarthritis by detecting cartilage the content of water and hydroxyproline in rabbit knee.Method:65 New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 6 groups:a Dan zi kang xi granules high dose group, b Dan zi kang xi granules medium dose group, c Dan zi kang xi granules low dose group, d drug control group, e model control group, f normal control group,Other than the normal control group, the left knee the rest of the group were, respectively, in 1,4,7 days a week injection of 4% papain. a group, b group, c group,were respectively treated with twice usual dose, usual dose,1/2 usual dose of Dan zi kang xi granules, d group was intervented with conventional-dose of Zhuang gu guan jie pills. Ground drugs into powder,then put into distilled water for confecting 10ml of drug suspension by gavage, e, f group were treated with 10ml distilled water by gavage, once a day,for 4 weeks. Observing the general condition of articular cartilage with eye and microscope,and taking the articular cartilage specimens for detecting water content and hydroxyproline content.Results:the articular cartilage was degenerative of the rabbit in model control group.The content of hydroxyproline of a, b, c, d group was higher than e group, the content of moisture of a, b, c, d group was less than e group, differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Dan zi kang xi granules high dose,medium dose were superior to low dose group in readjust the content of hydroxyproline and moisture. The differences between a,b groups and c group were statistically significant (P<0.05). The differences the content of moisture between a, b groups and d group were no statistically significant, the content of hydroxyproline of a, b group was higher than c, d group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Dan zi kang xi granules can prevent cartilage degeneration of knee osteoarthritis of rabbit, can improve the content of moisture and protect hydroxyproline of the cartilage matrix. |
