Objective:To observe the clinical efficiency and safety of Shuangjinhuoxue decoction in treating chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases in acute exacerbation(The syndrome of tungs blocked by phlegm and blood stasis),To provide scientific bases for clinical application.Methods:60 case of patients according to the diagnosis standards in the study were selected and divided into two groups randomly:the control group with 30 cases were given western medicine to cure COPD regularly, the therapy group with 30 cases were added Shuangjinhuoxue decoction on the basis of the cure of the control group. The changes of clinical symptoms, signs and laboratory indexes were observed before and after treatment in both groups. Results:1The curative effect comparison:there was significant difference in clinical effect between the two groups(P<0.01).The treatment group was better than the control group.2The integral symptoms of TCM comparison:the scores of the treatment group decreased significantly after treatment. There was significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).3CRP comparison:the level of CRP in blood was reduced in two group after treatment. The treatment group decreased more than the control group(P<0.01).4Hemorheology comparison:the improvement of hemorheology targets in treatment group was better than that in control group. The difference between groups was statistical significance(p<0.05).5Pulmonary function comparison:FEV1 and FEV1/FVC% were increased significantly after treatment. The treatment group is superiorer than the control group (P<0.05).6Blood gas analysis comparison:PaO2 increased,PaCO2 reduced after therapy;and there also existed difference in these indices between the two groups after therapy(P<0.05).7In the course of treatment, no adverse reaction was been found in both groups. Conclusions:The treatment group is superior to control group at the improvement of the clinical symptoms, signs, routine blood test, blood gas analysis, hemorheology and pulmonary function, got manifest therapeutical effects.
