Therapeutic Effects And Mechanism Of Zibu Shenjing Fang On Growth And Development With Kidney Essence Insufficiency Mice

Objective:Established the animal model of kidney essence insufficiency, and observed the growth, development, serum hormone levels, antioxidant capacity of the mice, to explore the therapeutic effects and mechanism of Zibu Shenjing Fang on nourishing kidney essence.Methods:50 healthy male Kunming mice were divided into 5 groups:normal group, model group, Jingui Shenqi Wan group, Zibu Shenjing Fang high-dose group and low-dose group. Except normal group, other 4 groups were established the animal model of kidney essence insufficiency by the method of terror impairing kidney and overfatigue for 21 days. From the start, model group was given saline (0.2ml/10g), Jingui Shenqi Wan group was given Jingui Shenqi Wan (2.7g·kg-1·d-1), and Zibu Shenjing Fang high-dose and low-dose groups were given different concentration Zibu Shenjing Fang (20g·kg-1·d-1,10g·kg-1·d-1) respectively for 21 days. Then observed the general situation of animals, measured weights and organ weights, calculated organ indexes and detected the quantities of GH, IGF-1, total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC), glutathione-peroxidase (GSH-PX) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in serum.Results:Zibu Shenjing Fang could obviously improve the symptom of kidney essence insufficiency, increase the weights, organ weights and the quantities of GH, IGF-1 effectively, enhance the activity of T-AOC, GSH-PX and decrease LDH in serum.Conclusion:Kidney essence deficiency could influence the growth and development of anmial models, which showed that the physical growth and development was slow, the growth hormoe level was low and the body antioxidant ability was decreased. Zibu Shenjing Fang played a role in promoting the body growth and developemnt, increasing the level of animal growth hormone and improving the ability of body antioxidant in kidney essence insufficiency mice.
