The Clinical Study About The Effect Of Rosuvastatin On Blood Lipemia And Inflammatory Factors

OBJECTIVE: To observe and compare the treatments of rosuvastatin and atorvastatin inthe facets of blood lipemia and inflammation factors. To evaluate the clinical treatment andsafety of rosuvastatin made in China , and probe the proper dosage for Chinese, and provideconfirmed event for the clinic al treatment.METHODS: Divided 70 patients into two groups. Group A were gaven atorvastatin 20mgper day and group B were gaven rosuvastatin 5mg per day, within 6 weeks. Detect the followings:transaminases, renal functions,TC,TG,LDL,HDL, hs-CRP and TNF-αbefore and after thetreatments.RESULTS: Compare the levels of blood lipemia , hs-CRP and TNF-αof the group A andB pre and past treatment. (1)The two groups resulted in significantly (p<0.05) greater meanpercentage changed in TC,TG,LDL,hs-CRP, but didn't change enough in HDL. The levelof TNF-αin group B didn't change significantly. After the treatment, in group A ,TCdecreased by 22.1%, TG decreased by 25.0%, LDL decreased by 27.4%, hs-CRP decreased by75.8%, TNF-αdecreased by 21.3%; in group B, TC decreased by 30.6%, TG decreased by15.5%,LDL decreased by 39.2%, hs-CRP decreased by 70.1%, TNF-αdidn't change enough.(2)The changes in group B were as good as group A in TC,TG,LDL,hs-CRP, and even hadsome advantages in TC,TG,LDL, in the early period. In other words, if we use rosuvastatins5mg per day in treatment, we can accept much better effect than use atorvastatins 20mg per dayin declin ing TC and LDL; but if we use atorvastatins 20mg per day in treatment, wecan receive much better result in TG,hs-CRP and TNF-αthan use rosuvastatins5mg per day. Besides, HDL wouldn't change significantly in the treatment eitheratorvastatins or rosuvastatins. (3) Either use atorvastatins or rosuvastatins in treatment weresafe enough.CONCLUTIONS: (1) Rosuvastatins have similar effect in decreasing the levels of TC,TG,LDL and hs-CRP as atorvastatins. (2)Smaller dosage of rosuvastatin (5mg) could achievethe purpos of controlling blood lipemia and improve the condition of inflammation. (3)Rosuvastatins and atorvastatins are all safety. (4)Rosuvastatins take advantages in reliability,safety and economic returns, and can be the drugs using for secondary prevention for CHD.(5)The rosuvastatins made in China have the same effects in clinical treatment and safety.
